The Le Chene Hotel had come under new ownership and the web site needed a new lease of life.
The new site was built to strict web standards, and the home page was reduced in size from 26Kb to just over 4Kb (an 85 percent reduction), meaning shorter download times and less waiting for visitors.
The rewritten site also helped boost search engine rankings by properly structuring relevant headings and content.
